The Palmdale City Library, located at 700 E. Palmdale Blvd.,  continues its Mid-Week Movies program with a free showing of the movie Clue (1985) rated PG on Wednesday, Feb. 7 at 6 pm.

Based on the popular board game, Clue this comedy begins at a dinner party hosted by Mr. Boddy, where he admits to blackmailing his visitors. These guests, who have been given aliases, are Mrs. Peacock, Miss Scarlet, Mr. Green, professor Plum, Mrs. White and Col. Mustard. When Boddy turns up murdered, all are suspects, and together they try to figure out who is the killer.

“We are excited to begin offering mid-week movies at the library,” said assistant library director Debbie Petersen.  “This ongoing program will offer a variety of films for children, families and adults to enjoy on Wednesday evenings.”

Other movies scheduled to be shown in January and February Benny & Joon (1993) PG on Feb. 14 at 6 pm, Sing (2016) rated PG on Feb. 21 at 6 pm, and Marshall (2017) rated PG-13 on Feb. 28 at 6 pm.

This program is made possible through the generous support of the Friends of the Palmdale City Library.

The Palmdale City Library is open seven days a week. Hours of operation are Monday through Thursday from 10 am to 8 pm; Friday and Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm; and Sunday from 1 to 5 pm.
