Historic Palmdale Cemetery

Address: Located at the northeast corner of 20th Street East and Avenue S
Cost: Free to the public
Gates open: 8 am to 5 pm, 7 days a week

URGENT: FAMILIES HAVE UNTIL JULY 16, 2009, TO RESTORE GRAVESITES AND FAMILY PLOTS

Visitors to the Historic Palmdale Cemetery may walk the grounds and respectfully view the hundreds of gravesites and dozens of family plots on the two and one-half acre site. Currently, parking is limited and access is via the south pedestrian gate. Future improvements will provide for additional parking and access.

Your respect for the dignity of the deceased is appreciated. Please observe walking trails and avoid stepping on gravemarkers.

Group Activities/Ceremonies

Organizations wishing to hold activities and/or ceremonies at the cemetery must schedule in advance with the City of Palmdale Department of Public Works at 661/267-5300.
