Amgen Tour of California - Palmdale

The Amgen Tour of California
is back in Palmdale!


The City of Palmdale is honored to host the Stage 6 start of the eight-day Amgen Tour of California. The Palmdale to Big Bear Lake race will offer a challenging course for the cyclists, and spectacular viewing for cycling enthusiasts.

The Great American Cycling Race - Coming to Palmdale 05.18.2012With an abundance of fresh clean air, beautiful blue skies, breathtaking sunsets and over 300 days of sunshine a year, Palmdale provides the perfect backdrop to healthy living. Cycling enthusiasts enjoy the many route options available, from long slow rides offering panoramic vistas along wide open roads, to challenging climbs for those seeking a serious workout.

Palmdale anticipates a great deal of enthusiasm and tremendous local support for the Palmdale stage of this world-renowned event.
