BevMo!

  • Bodega Norton Barrel Select Cabernet, Mendoza: 88 pts., Wine Spectator. The Norton Select Cabernet is ambitious, with a hefty dose of roasted vanilla tinged toast leading the way for dark plum and boysenberry fruit flavors; lush and fleshy.
  • Norton Malbec Barrel Select: 90 pts., Wilfred Wong. Persistent and totally enveloping, the ripe-fruited frisky Norton Barrel Select Malbec penetrates the palate with exceptional black fruit qualities.
  • Aresti Syrah Reserva, Maipo Valley: 91 pts., Wilfred Wong. One of the big, strong and silent types, the generously flavored Aresti Reserva Syrah plays up with lots of coy, black fruit flavors; almost pretty, long finish.
  • Zynthesis Old Vine Zinfandel, Lodi: 91 pts., Wilfred Wong. Almost fat, definitely thick, the ripe-berried Zynthesis Old Vine Zinfandel is the real deal; encompasses the palate with much more than just fruit.
  • Melipal Malbec Rose, Mendoza: 92 pts., Wilfred Wong. This wine begins with a wild profusion of fresh strawberries; long and rewarding on the palate. The frisky Melipal Malbec Rose is one of the best of its type.
  • Fratelli Moscato d’Asti: Aromatic and ripe; very sweet on the palate, light and breezy on the plate. Serve chilled.

Leona Valley Winery

  • 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon: The bouquet of briary dark fruit, with wisps of truffles and leather, unveils flavors of black cherry, currant, creamy cocoa, and toasty oak. It has a long and memorable finish.
  • 2005 Cabernet Franc: Dark garnet color: purple rim. This wine has mint and red currant on the nose with complex layers of black cherry and, red currant; velvety tannins fill the palate. It finishes with a lingering of Sweet Oak. We highly recommend making a reduction sauce with this wine, some sweet red onion and the seasoning of your choice. After decanting, you will truly unleash the delicate fruit of this wine.
  • 2006 Chardonnay: This barrel fermented Chardonnay offers a nose of mango, honeydew, guava and fig with flavors that are similarly ripe and luscious. The texture is lush but well focused and balanced with crisp acidity supporting the flavors of ripe pineapple, baked pear, apple tart and a hint of vanilla. This is an award-winning wine consistent with past vintages that sell out quickly.
  • 2006 Pinot Noir: The wine is medium bodied and rich, with dark fruit flavors such as black cherry and Asian plum. Pairing suggestions include ahi, salmon, poultry (particularly duck), veal, pork and hearty vegetarian entrees. Fantastic with wild mushroom pizza or wild mushroom anything! Will age for 5-10 years.
  • 2007 Pinot Rose: This is our only "semisweet" wine, but it is definitely not a dessert wine. It sells out faster than any other and everyone will love this Rose. It has a fantastic taste of quality and is incredibly romantic for that special date. Serve chilled on a warm day and you cannot go wrong! The 2007 Rose is made from 100% Leona Valley Pinot Noir grapes.

MICROWBREWS, BEERS & ALES

  • Michelob AmberBock: Smoothness, deep-dark color and a roasted malt taste that finishes clean are the hallmarks of this distinctive brew. Brewed using 100-percent malt — including dark-roasted black and caramel malts and all-imported hops - Michelob AmberBock has a unique, rich amber color and smooth, full-bodied taste.
  • Budweiser American Ale: Dry-hopped with Cascade hops from the Pacific northwest for a noticeably citrus aroma, this ale has a rich, sweet malt character.
  • Shock Top: Shock Top is an unfiltered Belgian-style wheat ale (also known as a "White" or "Wit" beer due to its appearance) that is naturally cloudy with a billowy white foam head, light golden hue and slight taste of orange peel and coriander.
  • Budweiser: The great American lager.
