911 Cell Phones for Seniors

There is now a FREE 911-cell phone program for seniors age 55+ offered at the Palmdale Senior Center. Any senior who needs a cell phone for emergency calls will receive one, subject to availability. The Senior Center is located at 1002 East Avenue Q-12. For more information, call the Senior Center at 267-5551.

Donations

If you'd like to donate an OPERABLE cell phone with its battery and charger to this worthy cause, please come by the Center and we will gladly give you a receipt for your donation. (The phone does not need to be "activated" by a wireless service!)

There are also community drop off sites for citizens to donate their cell phones. The Kiwanis Club of the Antelope Valley has graciously volunteered to pick up these donated phones once a month from the following sites:
