The City of Palmdale provides direct supervision of the Marie Kerr and Chris O'Leary skateparks. The following rules will be strictly enforced:

• A City-issued Facility Fun Pass is required to use the skatepark. One can be obtained at the parks and recreation office during normal business hours. Youth under age 18 must show valid identification verifying their age and identity, and must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to obtain a card. The first card is free; lost or damaged cards may be replaced for $5.
• By accepting a Facility Fun Pass the user has agreed to abide by all posted facility rules.
• Know your abilities: Skate at your own risk.
• Only skateboards and in-line skates may be used in the skatepark. Skating is not allowed outside the skatepark.
• To enter and remain inside the skatepark you must wear a helmet, elbow pads, and kneepads at all times.
• No food, drink or smoking inside the skatepark.
• No profanity.
• No sitting allowed inside the skatepark.
• The City is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
• Failure to obey skatepark rules is unlawful and your privilege to use the skatepark may be restricted, suspended, or permanently terminated, and you may be prosecuted.
• Failure to comply with an order to leave or stay away from the facility is a separate offense and may be prosecuted as either an infraction or misdemeanor.
