Discover how fun it is to Dance

Dance lovers of all ages, come join the fun and enjoy an enriching dance education, and an opportunity to develop performance skills.

TUESDAY CLASSES


"Primary/Pre Ballet II" Students ages 5 to 6
Tuesdays, 3:30 pm to 4:15 pm.
Requirements: Previous attendance in Pre-Primary dance.
Young children continue to learn the fundamentals of dance movement. Students develop competencies in musicality, rhythm, balance, coordination, creativity and locomotor skills through developmentally appropriate movement experiences.

"Beginning Ballet" Students ages 10 to 14
Tuesdays, 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
Requirements: None
Students learn the formal skills and vocabulary of classical ballet, as appropriate for their age and physical development. The class incorporates creative movement experiences, center barre technique, performance skills and class and stage etiquette in a structured class environment.

"Exercise Ballet" Students ages 12 to adult
Tuesdays, 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm Requirements: None
Are you looking for a fun dance workout? This fun and unique exercise ballet class gives students a total body workout, strengthening their muscles and developing flexibility, strength and stamina.

"Intermediate Ballet"
Tuesdays, 5:45 pm to 6:45 pm
Requirements: Consent of instructor and attendance in Basic or Intermediate/Advanced Ballet class on Thursday
A traditional classical ballet class which includes barre and center work. Competency in basic ballet technique is required, including port de bras, adagio, enchainement, petit and grand allegro and pirouettes.

"Jazz Dancing" Students ages 12 to adult
Tuesdays, 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm
Jazz dancing is energetic and fun, consisting of unique moves, fancy footwork, big leaps and quick turns. Class features warm-ups, strengthening, floor and barre work and across-the-floor combinations and will help showcase a dancer's individual style and originality.

"Advanced Ballet with Pointe"
Tuesdays, 7 pm to 8:30 pm
Requirements: Consent of instructor and attendance in Intermediate/Advanced class on Thursday
Classical Ballet technique with Pointe.



FALL SESSION FEE:
$70 Palmdale Resident
$90 Non-resident
