Dance lovers of all ages, come join the fun and enjoy an enriching dance education, and an opportunity to develop performance skills.
MONDAY CLASSES
Classes begin January 9"Get Into Tap" Students ages 6 to 11
Mondays, 4 pm to 5 pm.
From classical style to the new craze of rhythm tap, this class teaches the fundamentals of sound, rhythm and coordination.
"Jazz for Kids" Students ages 7 to 11
Mondays, 5 pm to 6 pm.
Class teaches students improvised rhythmic dancing and a variety of theatrical dance styles.
"Tap for Fun" Students ages 12 to adult
Mondays, 6:15 pm to 7:30 pm.
Tap dance builds aerobic fitness as well as muscle control in a fun and exciting environment. Students will review all basic tap steps, as well as study new vocabulary, a capella combinations and improvisation.
DANCE CLASS ATTIRE: Dance pants, leggings, or tights are required. Leotards or close fitting T-shirts which cover the midriff must be worn. No street clothes, no oversized dancewear, no jewelry. Black Jazz and Tap shoes required.
SPRING SESSION FEE:
$70 Palmdale Resident
$90 Non-resident
