Discover the magic with the Palmdale Theatre Arts program at the Palmdale Playhouse

Theatre arts classes will provide exposure to a variety of theatre fundamentals. Students will learn about the people and skills involved in a theatre production and how it all comes together to create "the magic of theatre."

Students will develop a variety of skills that include:

"Preteens"
Mondays, 6 pm to 7 pm
Students ages 9 to 12
Building a character
Stage movement
Voice
Props and costume basics
Make-up basics
Game-based theatre activities
Responsibility and team work

"Teens"
Mondays, 7 pm to 8:30 pm
Students ages 13 to 18
Auditioning methods and skills
Improv
Scene study
Monologue study
Character study and development
Technical - sound, lights and backstage

Spring Session runs from
January 9 - May 19, 2012

FALL SESSION FEE:
$70 Palmdale Resident
$90 Non-resident
