The City of Palmdale's crime prevention unit is committed to empowering citizens to take a proactive approach in creatively solving community problems; building healthy communities through the education and promotion of crime prevention techniques; and using a proactive service-oriented approach to promote a sense of community and improve the quality of life.
The Partners Against Crime, Neighborhood Watch and Business Watch programs are just a few of the many programs we have available. Check out some of the other special programs offered, too.

Business Watch Learn how to keep your business safe.
Partners Against Crime Partners Against Crime is a community-oriented policing program that joins the City, Palmdale Sheriff's Station and residents to keep illegal activity out of rental property. The program helps improve the quality of life for Palmdale residents.
Graffiti AbatementHelp keep the City free of graffiti by reporting graffiti 24 hours a day at 94-PRIDE (947-7433) or report it online. The City strives to remove graffiti within 24 hours.
Adopt-a-Wall
The Adopt-a-Wall program coordinates groups of volunteers to conduct regular graffiti removal and works with the community to reduce graffiti on both public and private property throughout Palmdale. For more information, click here.
CPTED Site Plan Review
The crime prevention unit conducts crime prevention through environmental design (CPTED) reviews of all development plans in the City to ensure that good crime prevention strategies are being designed into the project.
