Use the MapGuide 6.5 Interactive "No Fireworks Zone" Map to search by address.Using the MapGuide 6.5 Interactive Map
The steps below describe how to install and use the MapGuide 6.5 "No Fireworks Zone" Map within Microsoft Internet Explorer. Other Internet browsers such as Safari, Firefox, and/or Chrome are not compatible with the MapGuide map. Users of these browsers can view the PDF maps or try using the MapGuide Enterprise Interactive Map "Beta Version", shown at the bottom of the page.
- Click on the MapGuide 6.5 "No Fireworks Zone" map link.
- Click on the Accept button to acknowledge the City of Palmdale’s Disclaimer-Confidentiality Notice.
- If the map is not visible, then you will need to install the Autodesk MapGuide viewer.
- Click on the green Search button in the upper left portion of the map area.
- Enter your house/address number only in the House Number text area and click on the Search button.
- Find your property within the list of search results and click on the link in the Parcel Number column.
- The No Fireworks Zone Map will center and zoom on the property you selected. From there you will be able to see if your property is within the red "No Fireworks Zone" or not.

The steps below describe how to use the MapGuide Enterprise "No Fireworks Zone" Map. This map supports most Internet browsers such as Internet Explorer, Safari, Firefox, and/or Chrome. There is no plugin or software required to use Enterprise. Comments are welcome and can be sent to the City of Palmdale GIS Section at (661) 267-5300 or email gis_helpdesk@cityofpalmdale.org.
- Click on the MapGuide Enterprise "No Fireworks Zone" Map - Beta Version link.
- Click on the Accept button to acknowledge the City of Palmdale’s Disclaimer-Confidentiality Notice.
- Click on the green Search Icon in the toolbar above the map area.
- Enter your house/address number only in the House Number text area and click on the Find button.
- Locate your property within the list of search results and click on the link.
- The No Fireworks Zone map will center and zoom on the property you selected. From there you will be able to see if your property is within the red "No Fireworks Zone" or not.
