Industrial Waste Program
The City of Palmdale adopted Title 13 on July 1, 2009 to protect the City’s wastewater treatment plants and sewer systems by regulating industrial wastes that are discharged to the City sewer system.
Program Objectives
- Protect Palmdale’s publicly owned treatment plants from pollutants, which may cause damage to the sewage treatment plant.
- Prevent untreated pollutants that could pass through to ground water.
- Prevent grease and fat products from entering the main sewer line systems.
