Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to pay if I am not going swimming or using the attractions?
Yes, everyone entering the park must pay admission.

Are credit cards and personal checks accepted?
Visa and MasterCard are accepted at all ticket windows, DryTown General Store and Dusty's Grill. No personal checks are accepted.

Can I leave the park and return the same day?
Guests may obtain a hand stamp at the exit gate that will allow them to leave and return on the same day.

Is my child required to wear a swim diaper?
Diapered guests must wear approved plastic swim diapers, which can be purchased at our cost in the DryTown General Store. Disposable swim diapers of any kind are not allowed.

How old must my child be to come to the park alone?
Children age 12 and younger must be accompanied by an adult age 18 or older.

How tall does my child have to be to ride the water slides?
The Devil's Punch Bowl, Rattler's Revenge and The Wildcatter have a minimum height requirement of 48", no exceptions.

How tall does my child have to be to ride Big Rock River?
Children must be 42" or taller to ride Big Rock River alone. Children under 42" must be accompanied by an adult age 18 or older on a one-to-one ratio.

How tall does my child have to be to use the Little Miners Camp?
Children must be 36" or taller to use Little Miners Camp. Children under 36" must be accompanied by an adult age 18 or older on a one-to-one ratio.

Can I bring my own flotation devices?
Personal life vests and flotation devices of any kind are not allowed.

Do you have life jackets available?
Yes, life jackets for children and adults are available free of charge.

What items not included in the admission price may be rented?
Admission to the park includes entrance, use of the attractions, life jackets and tubes. A limited number of lockers and semi-private shaded areas are available for rent. Visit the DryTown General Store to rent a locker or shade.

Can I bring a picnic basket?
Personal food and beverage items are not permitted inside the park. Barbecues, coolers, alcoholic beverages and glass containers are also prohibited.

Are there food stands at the park?
Snack and beverage carts are located throughout the park. Dusty's Grill offers sandwiches, hamburgers, hot dogs, fries, snacks, beverages and more.

What about water safety, first aid and lost and found facilities?
All DryTown lifeguards are NASCO certified, a nationally recognized program including first aid and CPR certification. A complete first aid station is centrally located in the park. Lost and found items will be kept in the DryTown Town Hall. DryTown is not responsible for lost, stolen or broken artifacts.

Are facilities available for handicapped guests?
General entrance and exit facilities are available for handicapped guests. There is limited access to Big Rock River and Little Miners Camp. The Devil's Punch Bowl, Rattler's Revenge and The Wildcatter do not have access for handicapped guests; however, our staff will make every reasonable effort to accommodate handicapped guests within our safety guidelines.
