Bookmobile


The Palmdale City Library's bookmobile is a mobile library-on-wheels that serves the entire City of Palmdale. It stops at parks, neighborhoods, schools, and shopping centers to bring library services to the community.

The bookmobile operates five days a week, Tuesday through Saturday. The bookmobile carries a rotating collection of material for both adults and children. The collection includes books, magazines, videos, books-on-tape and books-on-CD ... all the same types of material that can be found in the Library's facilites.

Through a wireless connection, the bookmobile offers users real time access to the Library's online catalog. In additon to browsing the on-board collection, you can check the catalog and place holds on items you would like to check out. Items on hold are brought to your stop for you as they become available.
