Palmdale Partners Academy
Fall 2012
Partners Academy Now Enrolling!
"Who decides what businesses come to town?"
"Where does the funding come from to take care of the City?"
"How do I present to the City Council?"
"How do I get a new program in parks and recreation?"
These and many other who, what, when, where, why and hows are answered in the Palmdale Partners Academy.
The Academy is designed to present citizens with a first-hand look at City operations and services. Participants will interact with City staff and learn the challenges facing municipal governments as well as gain insight into the City's future goals and objectives. Whether you are an aspiring politician, a business owner or an interested resident, you are sure to find the Academy packed with valuable information.
Interested persons should submit their application as soon as possible as participation is limited. Citizens unable to commit to all the classes are asked to apply for future sessions. Priority will be given to residents of Palmdale. Classes will be held every Wednesday from 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm, for nine weeks.
