Youth Online Art Gallery

Calling Young Artists

We want to shine the spotlight on YOU!

Would you like to have your artwork exhibited on the City of Palmdale Web site? We are building an online gallery to feature the art of the youth in our community.

Some art may be considered for use as part of our Youth web page as icons or links. Other works may be featured on the gallery page.

All art submitted for consideration must be approved before it will be featured on our Web site. Submissions must be appropriate for viewing by all segments of our community. Therefore it may not contain any content that is discriminatory toward any culture or racial-ethnic group, nor may it endorse, or appear to endorse any illegal or violent activity. Submissions containing inappropriate or offensive language or images will be automatically rejected.

Submitting Your Artwork

To submit art for consideration, send us an e-mail with your artwork as an attachment. Please be sure to provide the following information in your e-mail.

Artwork title
Your Name
Your Age
Your School
Your name, as you wish it to appear
(This can be your nickname, just your first name, or your entire name. If you do not list your artist name here, your art may be shown without attribution.)

By submitting your work for consideration you agree to its use by the City of Palmdale without reservation. All images must be submitted digitally and will not be returned. No compensation will be provided for use of the photos and there is no guarantee that the photos you submit will be used. If your photo(s) are selected for inclusion in the City of Palmdale Youth Online Gallery, you will be contacted by the Webmaster and given a photo credit on the site.

By submitting photos, you certify and agree that: (1) you own or have the necessary licenses, rights, consents, and permissions to use and submit the attached photograph for inclusion in the City of Palmdale Online Gallery; (2) the attached photograph is not copyrighted, protected or otherwise subject to third party proprietary rights, including privacy and publicity rights, except for those held by yourself or rightfully granted to you; and (3) by submitting the attached photograph, you are granting the City of Palmdale a permanent nonexclusive right to publish the photograph, along with your name and information about the photograph, on the City of Palmdale Web site without compensation.
