Celebrate Your Identity: Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Festival
In honor of the fantastic events happening in the latter half of the year: Hispanic Heritage Month, LGBTQ+ History Month, Native American Heritage Month, Human Rights Day, and so forth, the City of Palmdale is organizing a celebration called “Celebrate Your Identity: Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Festival. The event is aimed to celebrate and honor our community’s rich, diverse identities and how this enhances our community’s culture.
The Celebrate Your Identity: Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Festival will take place on Saturday, October 22nd at the Poncitlán Square - 38315 9th St E, Palmdale, CA 93550-from 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
To help us with attendance, we are asking attendees to sign up here: https://signup.com/client/invitation2/secure/847026590429460014/false#/invitation. However, sign-up is not required to attend.

The Human Rights Campaign’s Municipal Equality Index Scorecard (MEI) highlights ways that cities support LGBTQ+ people who live and work there. The City of Palmdale is a longstanding organization member and continuously seeks ways to support and empower LGBTQ+ community members and employees.
Human Rights Advisory Committee
The Human Rights Advisory Committee provides actionable recommendations to the Mayor City Council and the City Manager to bolster their efforts to advance diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging in the organization and the community.
