Parks are vitally important to establishing and maintaining the quality of life in our community, promoting the health of families and youth, and contributing to the economic and environmental well-being of our City. The City maintains 17 developed parks with a combined total of 810 acres.
Park landscape maintenance services include urban forestry management, turf management, plant and shrub management, water resource management via climate-based central irrigation control and irrigation system maintenance, integrated weed and pest management, and litter management.

Landscape Maintenance oversees private contractors who provide much of the City’s landscape maintenance services. City staff ensure contractor compliance and support specialized maintenance services throughout the City.
