Palmdale City Library


In response to the COVID-19 pandemic and following the recommendations issued by the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health, the Palmdale City Library will be closed for the duration of this emergency to best protect the health and safety of our patrons and employees.

Online services will still be available, and staff will be available to answer phones and provide pick-up/front door service for physical items in the collection (no walk-in services are available until further notice):
Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your understanding. When the situation changes, we will announce it here.


En respuesta al brote de COVID-19 y siguiendo las recomendaciones emitidas por el Departamento de Salud Pública del Condado de Los Ángeles, la Biblioteca de la Ciudad de Palmdale permanecerá cerrada mientras dure esta emergencia para proteger mejor la salud y seguridad de nuestros clientes y empleados. 

Los servicios en línea seguirán estando disponibles y el personal estará disponible para contestar teléfonos y brindar servicio de recogida / puerta de entrada para los artículos físicos en la recolección (no hay servicios disponibles dentro de la biblioteca hasta nuevo aviso):

lunes a jueves de 10 a.m. a 5 p.m.
viernes y sábado 10 a.m. a 4 p.m.

Wireless printing has been made available, with our new MobilePrint Services, you can use your personal computer or mobile device to print to the library's printers from anywhere. Simply submit the documents for printing: then call the library with your library card number and e-mail. We'll schedule an appointment time so you can pick up your print job safely and easily!
