  • The City Clerk’s office is a Vote By Mail Drop Off Location between the hours of 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM until March 20, 2020. To find Vote By Mail Drop Off Locations and hours throughout Los Angeles County, visit 

Vote Centers:

Candidate Information

City of Palmdale General Municipal Elections are held in November of even-numbered years. The City Clerk oversees the election process and required candidate and committee filings, and is the primary contact for residents requesting election information. 

The nomination filing period for candidates running for a City Council seat begins mid-July and concludes mid-August. Please contact the City Clerk at 661-267-5151 for information about running for office.
