Mystery Book Club to Discuss The Storm Murders

The Palmdale City Library’s Mystery Book Club “Murder, Mystery & Mayhem” will discuss the book The Storm Murders by John Farrow on Wednesday, Nov. 20, at 7 p.m. in the Chimbole Cultural Center, 38350 Sierra Highway.

The first book in a trilogy written by acclaimed Canadian author Trevor Ferguson under the pen name of John Farrow, The Storm Murders continues the story of Detective Emile Cinq-Mars, who has been called “the Hercule Poirot of Canada.” In The Storm Murders, after detectives are called to a house the day after a blizzard and find two dead people inside, they must solve the mystery of how they died and figure out whether it was a murder/suicide or something else.

The Murder, Mystery and Mayhem Mystery Book Discussion Group meets the third Wednesday of the month at 7 pm in the Larry Chimbole Cultural Center. The group is open to anyone who enjoys a good mystery.

For more information, please call the Palmdale City Library at 661/267-5600 or TDD 267-5167, or visit www.cityofpalmdale.org/library.
