Palmdale City Library to Host Meet and Greet for Local Author Alfred Miller

The Palmdale City Library, located at 700 E. Palmdale Blvd.,   will host a meet and greet and book signing with local author Alfred Miller for his book From Cows to Space With God as my Copilot on Saturday, Nov. 23, from 1 to 3 p.m.

From Cows to Space With God as My Copilot  tells the story of Miller’s early years, growing up on a farm, as well as his career as a mathematician, where he put his skills to use at the Premier Air Force Flight Test Center, Edwards Air Force Base.

 “We are excited to host local author Alfred Miller,” said Assistant Library Director Debbie Petersen.  “Make time on Saturday to stop by the Library and hear his story.” 

The Palmdale City Library is open seven days a week. Hours of operation are Monday through Thursday from 10 am to 8 pm; Friday and Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm; and Sunday from 1 to 5 pm.
