Kindness Rocks at the Palmdale Library

The Palmdale City Library, located at 700 E. Palmdale Blvd., will host its “Kindness Rocks” on Monday, Jan. 6  from 4 to 5 p.m.

The program is free and open to all ages. Rocks and paint are provided.

“Together we can spread more kindness as part of our New Year’s resolutions,” said Library Circulation Supervisor Janet McLagan. “Our goal is to promote random acts of kindness to unsuspecting recipients by painting and dropping inspirational rocks for other people to find. For more information come to our event or look up the kindness rocks movement.”

The Palmdale City Library is open seven days a week. Hours of operation are Monday through Thursday from 10 am to 8 pm; Friday and Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm; and Sunday from 1 to 5 pm.

For more information, please call the Palmdale City Library at 661/267-5600 or TDD 267-5167, or visit www.cityofpalmdale.org/library.
