Palmdale City Library to Host “Teen Geek” Club

The Palmdale City Library, located at 700 E. Palmdale Blvd, will host the next meeting of “Teen Geek Club,” a fandom discussion group exclusively for teens ages 12 to 17, on Thursday, Feb. 6 at 4:30 pm. Admission is free.

The Palmdale City Library Geek Club is a group of teens that meet to discuss the latest news about their favorite fandoms. This free club only requires that you bring an open mind and enthusiasm about your favorite fandoms.

“Started by teens for teens, this is a safe space to geek out about your favorite things,” said Library Assistant Director Jamielee Beck. “Star Wars, Harry Potter, Doctor Who and more---we’ll talk about it!”

Snack and beverages will be provided to those who participate.

The next “Teen Geek Club” meeting will take place Feb. 20 at 4:30 pm.

The Palmdale City Library is open seven days a week. Hours of operation are Monday through Thursday from 10 am to 8 pm; Friday and Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm; and Sunday from 1 to 5 pm.
